Introduction Our Foundation proudly manages a variety of scholarship funds created to honor family members or friends, memorialize those who have passed, and to carry forward donors’ values to future generations. Each fund sets its own eligibility rules: many awards are reserved for graduates of specific high schools; some are intended for students studying certain disciplines or enrolled at a particular college or university; and a limited number support students who are already enrolled in higher education. Service area and reach CFOV scholarships serve a broad geographic area and are intended to help students from diverse backgrounds. Primary counties served include Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Tyler, and Wetzel in West Virginia, along with Jefferson and Belmont in Ohio. Certain scholarship opportunities may also be available to applicants outside this core service area. Eligibility and special requirements - Every fund has distinct criteria. Read each scholarship’s requirements carefully to confirm you meet the specified high school, field of study, institutional, or enrollment conditions. - Some awards are one-time grants; others are renewable and require annual verification. Important dates and platform notes - The 2025 scholarship application period opens on January 13 and closes on February 28 at 4:00 p.m. Application functions will not be accessible before January 13. - First-time applicants must register and create an account in the online system. - Current recipients of multi-year awards will find annual verification forms inside their dashboard when required. - Not every CFOV scholarship is managed through the online portal. Follow the application or access instructions listed for each fund to ensure you complete the correct process.
